The Goal of Performance Training

The goal with any performance training program is long-term athletic development. We start our training at a young age, beginning with sound movement patterns. We then shift our focus to building strength, speed, and power to aid in performance of the athlete’s sport. Performance training is key to any athlete looking to enhance and bring their game to the next level.

Our supplemental performance training programs are open to any athlete age 4th grade and up in the 2022/23 school year. Athletes do not need to be students at Breakaway Academy to participate. We also offer private lessons and remote training possibilities.

Key Benefits

Build strength, power, and speed with the use of weights, bands, and other supplemental items to help improve performance.

Each athlete attending this session will receive an individual program focused on their goals, areas of emphasis within their sport(s), and injury reduction.

Each athlete will complete the same program that will progress in movements from session to session

Focus on building acceleration and top speed

Includes broad jump, sprint time, and vertical testing at the beginning and end of the sessions

Youth Performance Training
