I love to exercise, be crafty, cheer on my kids and Chicago sports, thrifting, camping, visiting National Parks and playing sports any chance I can. (Ex-D1 college soccer player who likes to get on the field at any opportunity.)

What do you like most about BA?
The small class sizes allow more opportunities to build relationships with the students. I appreciate how supportive the staff and administration are of each other. We all have the same goal of helping these young students be the best version of themselves.

Why did you get into education?
To make a positive impact on young children’s lives. I want them to take away things I teach them and use them in the real world.

What teacher that you had made a big impact on your life and why?
Mrs. Voss, 7th and 8th grade physical education teacher. She was always so positive, happy and expected us to try our best, while having fun.

What is your best advice for students at BA?
Work hard and use manners, whether someone is watching you or not.
Be positive, smile, have fun, stay fit and drink water.
