Bio

I live in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I enjoy spending time with my dog, Mila. I also enjoy going for walks, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

What do you like most about BA?
I like that BA has set up an atmosphere where students can express themselves while working towards their athletic goals.

Why did you get into education?
My mother was a teacher and has always encouraged me to use my knowledge to help others. I have always loved working with kids and hope to center my life around building positive interactions within the education system.

Which coach or teacher had the biggest impact on your life and why?
My middle school health teacher had the biggest impact on my life. She went above and beyond in building relationships with each student. She made me feel like I was important. I hope to bring that mindset into my classroom.

What is the best advice that you can give students at BA?
Every person is important in their own way. I believe that each of you will thrive in our school as long as you work hard and participate to the best of your ability.

What are your credentials and teaching experience?
I have a degree in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I have worked in special education with students ages 5-12 and I have taught first grade at ISD 196.
