Michaela was born and raised in Reading, Massachusetts. She played collegiate hockey at Clarkson University where she brought home a National Championship as a freshman. Michaela went on to play two years at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA. Her path took an unexpected turn when RMU’s program was dissolved. Pursuing an extra year of eligibility at Boston College, Michaela received her masters degree in Sports Administration. In 2022, she played professionally for the Buffalo Beauts in the Premier Hockey Federation.
Today, Michaela resides in Minnesota, where she has transitioned her passion for hockey into a coaching career. She serves as an on-ice skills coach for OS Hockey Training, where her expertise and mentorship empower young players to elevate their game. Additionally, she takes on the role of an assistant coach at The Breck School. Her coaching philosophy is rooted in building meaningful relationships with her players, guiding them towards their dreams, and instilling the values of hard work and dedication—traits that have defined her own remarkable journey in the world of hockey.
