Why is it important to have solid academics in addition to good hockey training?
Having solid academics as well as athletics will be key to a lot of kids development. If your work in the classroom doesn’t match up with your work on the ice you won’t find much success in the game of hockey.
Which coach or teacher had the biggest impact on your life and why?
The teacher that impacted my life the most would be my high school gym teacher. He ran off season workouts with all athletes. Even though he was a football coach he wanted all students to have a chance to see how rewarding it is when you push yourself and succeed in the end. The standard of what a high character person looks and acts like will stick with me for my whole life.
What is your favorite hockey memory?
My favorite hockey memory would be my rookie year of juniors scoring the OT winning goal to get my team to nationals.
What are your credentials and hockey experience?
Played 4 years varsity hockey, then moved onto 3 years of junior hockey, followed by 1 year of college hockey, and now I run mini skills camps and 4-on-4 leagues in my hometown.
